About Trip

The trek to Lamjung Himal, which lies immediately east of Annapurna massif, offers for several peaks for exploration as well as beautiful high pasture and lakes with memorial views across the Marsyangdi valley to Manaslu and the surrounding high peak.  This virtually untrekked region provides fantastic views of Annapurna, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu, and Himalchuli but lies remote from the popular trekking routes.   The best know “Ferry Meadows” just below Lamjung Himal provides and ideal base for exploration and climbing of the peaks upto 5000 m.   The trek can be extended by crossing a hight pass of Namun Bhanjyang (5764 m.) in to the Manang Bhot valley.   From here one can return to Pokhara or continue across to the Thorong la pass to complete Annapurna circuit.
